Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts was a two-fer we got "The Idiotic Susan Rice" and "Sunset Jackson" was posted Sunday.
And what else?
I have been doing auctions all night. My goddaughter's daughter has gotten into 70s dolls and shows. That includes Wonder Woman and the Bionic Woman.
Remember Lindsay Wagner? She was so great in The Bionic Woman.
Well they made a Bionic Woman doll -- actually two different ones. One in the sweater with jogging pants or jeans and the other in the blue jump suit. The blue jump suit was later and the doll's features were a little sharper and the hair a little finer.
So because I had so much luck with Barbie homes and things like that, my goddaughter asked if I could try for a Bionic Woman home.
No problem. I snatched one up quickly and cheaply. A wonderful dome house just like my oldest had.
My goddaughter said that was great but she didn't know about The Bionic Woman Dome House. So what house was she talking about?
The carriage house.
I had to correct her that the only doll house for Jamie Sommers was that dome house. On the TV show, she lived in a carriage house. But the doll just had the dome house.
We went back and forth on this. So I said I'd call C.I. who would know the answer. She said there was a carriage house. She asked him how many I needed and said to go to Ebay and look.
I did. There were two. They really do exist. one was $500 and the other $250.
I was about to call my goddaughter to see what the ceiling was when C.I. called back and said they could FedEx one by the end of the week.
I was so happy.
But I had no idea there was a Carriage House.
It's two stories.
Right away, it's wrong from the show because it has a fire place and table and chairs downstairs.
Nope. On the show, Jamie lives upstairs and the bottom is like horses' stalls.
(And the fire place is upstairs.)
But that's fine.
I did, on Ebay, get a Bionic Woman metal lunch box and a Wonder Woman metal lunch box.
I'm still looking for clothes for both dolls so I really don't have much to say tonight. I'll try to be a better blogger tomorrow.
Oh, I also got the Bionic Woman board game. I hope that's a fun game.
As I remember it, it was a fun game. But we're talking thirty or forty years.
This is C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot" for Tuesday:
