How about that Ava?
Did she not do a wonderful job covering Congress last night and the night before? She said, "It won't be much," when she offered and I told her anything was fine. And I thought it was more than fine.
Scott Brown introduced a witness at the hearing she was blogging about on Tuesday. That was really all she saw him do. But Scott Brown is leading in the polls by 10% in several polls in fact. He's one of my two US senators. He's running for re-election. He's a Republican. Elizabeth Warren is his Democratic challenger.
I told you here, over and over, that Elizabeth was out of touch with my state,, that many of us saw it as a choice between Republican Brown and, until recently, Republican Warren. She was a Republican and was known as one. Every step she's made has been wrong. that was obvious from her first big error where she and surrogates were all over Scott Brown about the comment he made after she made one about his posing nude (for Playgirl) while he was in college. She never should have went there.
But she apparently thought she was very clever. Then he responded back with his own flippant remark and suddenly it was hurt feelings on the part of Elizabeth and NOW and others. She started it. Playground rules apply, does no one get that?
You start slinging insults, that's fine. And people won't necessarily be mad at you for it. But after you start slinging, you can't then --when the person responds -- whine, "Oh, no fair!"
Especially to claim that Scott Brown was sexist. He wasn't sexist. Elizabeth Warren was.
To suggest that someone isn't qualified because they once posed nude decades ago?
That's a sexist statement generally made about women. (She basically tried to "slut shame" Scott Brown.)
Elizabeth Warren defeats herself.
I've said it repeatedly here. I am not surprised by her current problems and don't see any hints that things will get better for her.
