This is my state, if you don't know, and I'm writing about the Senate race. Scott Brown is the incumbent and a Republican. Elizabeth Warren is a Democrat.
I would normally be for Warren. But she's too much of a a Martha. The woman Brown beat for this seat. Martha started off so strong. She cared about things like universal health care, she was no fan of ObamaCare. Then she got the nomination (prior to that she was competing in a primary) and she became Barack's best friend. No, that's not going to win you. Not in my state.
We are left. But Barack's not. He's a corporatist. There are some Democrats who don't care and support him just because of the "D" after his name. And there are some that don't think about it. Then there are the ones who are left and aren't going to play. That's me, that's most of my family -- I'd say all. And we're the ones who someone like Brown can peel off.
I'd rather have Scott Brown in the Senate fighting against Barack's nonsense for whatever reason than to have Elizabeth Warren blindly applauding every move Barack makes.
And I'm a part of the left and representative of an important part of it my state. We are the ones who can get the Dem into office. We're also the ones who can stay home or even vote outside the party. And that's why Blue Mass can still vote a Republican into office.
None of that's about the poll. The reason I disagree with the poll?
Elizabeth Warren has become a joke. People make fun of her for claiming to be Native American, they now make fun of her for lying about it.
More than any poll, those jokes right now are what she needs to worry about. And the way she refused to address this issue ensures that she'll remain the butt of many jokes.
