I noted an important video report Adam Kokesh did in yesterday's post. I was hoping I wouldn't have to come back to it.
Now I do.
I'm not linking to Huffington Post at the request of a reader. So I can't link the AP story there. But search "Moveon," "Occupy" and "donors" and you should find the article easily.
Then Trina, why don't you do it? Because tomorrow is the birthday of a friend's granddaughter and the bakery she was getting a cake at tried to screw her over. So I told her forget about it, I can easily make it. And I can. We're doing a three layer cherry cake with cherry frosting and I'll decorate it with cherries (her granddaughter loves pink) and it will be a cute, cute cake. But I've got to check on it repeatedly. I have had very few cakes fall (go flat) (I bake my cakes from scratch if it's a special occasion and this is) but this would be the time. So I keep tip toeing to the oven and even have a sign up saying "STEP LIGHTLY." Although my husband and son already know that.
But I want this to be a great cake because we became grandmothers at the same time and I can so relate to how important tomorrow is for my friend and her granddaughter.
And I'm back from the oven. So far so good.
Okay. The AP story explains that MoveOn and others are giving money to the Occupy protests. I'm sorry, they can cover them. I'm no longer interested. When you take money, you have a debt.
I have waited in vain for the obvious step to be taken: OCCUPY THE WHITE HOUSE.
But of course that hasn't happened. Now it obviously won't because MoveOn will stop donating money if it does.
The Adam Kokesh video report was disturbing.
Okay. The report was disturbing. He was reporting from the Occupy DC which already had problems in my opinion -- Kevin Zeese refused to allow libertarians to take part originally. If it's about the 99%, it's about the 99%. If it's not about the 99%, it's a bulls**t 'movement.'
So Adam's interviewing people. I told you about the homeless advocate. A very smart man who knows the DC system and had a lot of observations worth hearing.
Then there were the two chirpies. A man and a woman. (Sorry. Homeless advocate was African-American. The chripies are both White.)
She has some criticism of Barack and even shares one or two. Then she explains that Barack 'has to' get a second term. Because he's Black.
She actually says that.
It doesn't matter what he did.
These are the voices. (Second chirpie's even worse.)
I am sure there are many well meaning people and I've met some of them locally. But I don't trust Kevin Zeese. For obvious reasons. He tells one group of people on thing and another group another. He refuses to stand up. He was a cheerleader for Barack in 2008.
I always said I would drop OWS from this site the minute my fears that it was a Barack scam. I believe that's what it is.
If you're really disgusted with the economy and the bail outs for the rich and the talk of cuts to the safety net, you take that protest to the White House.
When day after day you can't say a damn word against Barack then you're nothing but a little whore. I don't have time for you.
