'But we can help' -- yeah, right
Okay, tonight's speech. 'We can all agree on' -- Barack said some variant of that over and over in his speech. And he wants action on this proposal.
Where's the proposal?
In August, he declared he had a plan. He was just waiting until September to tell us. Cause he needed to vacation a bit.
It's September. I heard him push things off on the Super Congress (also known as the Super Committee -- and I don't respect them under either). I heard him attack the media at least twice. I heard him try to shame the Republicans.
I just didn't hear a plan.
And shouldn't the plan not only be in writing but already being proposed in the House and Senate?
This was the worst speech of his entire career and that's really saying something.
I hope everyone watched because they would have seen just how empty Barack is now.
He's got nothing. No plans, no ideals. Not even any passion.
C.I. asked me, "Did you hear him say, 'But we can help'?"
That's what stood out most to me.
"But we can help," he declared.
In a weak voice that cracked making it sound even weaker. It was a whisper.
Barack is pathetic.
C.I. caught something else that had me laughing hard. I would include it but I'm not sure if she and Ava are planning to use it at Third. I hope they do. Because it's hilarious and I missed it. I bet most people did.
This is C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot" for Thursday:
