•1 box frozen spinach, thawed and drained

•1/2 cup mayonnaise
•1 packet onion soup mix
•pepper to taste
Mix together all ingredients thoroughly. Chill for at least an hour before serving to allow flavors to mingle. That's it!
Yes, it is that easy and there's a meat free appetizer you can serve. I actually like the new (or I just noticed them in the last year) flatbread Wheat Thins. And I like to eat them with either spinach dip or spinach and artichoke dip.
Jacob Goldstein, NPR's Planet Money, reports on the new jobs report:
The private sector added 222,000 jobs in February. But states and cities cut 30,000 jobs during the month — including 17,000 in education.
If you go back a few years, you see the opposite pattern: Throughout 2008, as the private sector was cutting jobs, states and cities kept hiring.
But over the past year, as the private sector has slowly started adding jobs, state and local governments have continued to cut month after month
And, thanks to my wonderful readers, I can tell you that there are 16 states that will do severe cuts of either state or the major city workers. The job numbers are not getting better and they're about to get a lot worse as the Fiscal Year ends.
