A mother of two who is suffering in the economy: "I hated George Bush but now over the past couple of years that Obama's been in, I'd rather have Obama."
A man says: "I don't know if speeches reassure me. I'm more into results. I've already heard speeches."
For most Americans, things are worse. And I say that because it's not just the unemployment or the lower wages right now. If you think it is, you're Paul Krugman or some other man who doesn't do a thing in the real world. Meaning? I grocery shop. Things are worse because the price of groceries is going up. You see it every trip. Inflation? I think it's coming. But I know right now that people are hurting more now in the last three months than they were in 2009 as a whole because they're suffering as they were but now they're suffering with the cost of bread increasing, with the cost of crackers increasing, with the cost of milk increasing, etc.
And Barack blew it yet again. He keeps saying he wants to focus on the economy. So what does he do today? Go on Good Morning America and talk about the Florida church.
The economy has not rebounded, many Americans do not feel he has seriously addressed it and after his Oval Office speech two Tuesdays ago where he promised he would be addressing it, a week later and it can't even keep his focus.
